DC Master Trust of the Year, DC Innovation of the Year and Retirement Innovation of the Year
Smart Pension has won three pension awards at a top industry event.
The digital workplace pensions innovator was named DC Master Trust of the Year, DC Innovation of the Year and picked up Retirement Innovation of the Year in the UK Pensions Awards run by Professional Pensions.
It was up against some tough opposition in each category including Aviva, Legal & General, Mercer and Aon.
The awards add to the trophy the firm picked up last week for Technology Services of the Year in the Financial Times Pensions and Investments Provider Awards (PIPA) and is the third set of awards in which the firm was recognised this year.
Andrew Evans, Smart Pension co-founder and CEO, said:
“These awards are testament to the hard work and dedication of Team Smart. They demonstrate, unequivocally, how far we’ve come as a business in a very short space of time.
From day one we’ve strived to lead the way in pension innovation and these are exciting times for us as we continue to grow, evolve and deliver innovation with the goal of helping our members save more and make the most of their money at retirement.
These are the third major awards for us in the space of a few weeks - and as a young company operating in a well-established sector, it’s wonderful to be recognised by the industry in this way.”
Will Wynne, co-founder and MD, said:
“All of these awards reflect the pioneering approach we’ve consistently taken to solving age-old industry problems. As we deliver our award-winning, innovative digital decumulation product, we will be keen to work with both UK and global partners."
